Doug Lerner reports from Tokyo and St. Louis, and points beyond…

This is amazingly spot-on with predictions for something 17 years old. I was surprised.

The only thing they really missed (besides the fact that the tablet would be a more general tool than just a newspaper) was the fact that it would be connected wirelessly and constantly update. That wasn’t clear until about 11 minutes into the video when they started talking about kiosks and transferring the contents via memory cards.
But it’s really pretty amazing. I wonder why they lost their lead and what happened to the group.
